1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms and Conditions apply when you use the ClikAcademy website, register for a public course, request team training, access learning materials or participate in a ClikAcademy learning community. By registering, paying for, accessing or participating in a service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
If an organisation purchases training for participants, the organisation confirms that it is authorised to accept the commercial terms and will ensure its participants follow the relevant learning and conduct provisions.
2. Course information and eligibility
Course pages describe the expected curriculum, level, format, dates and requirements. You are responsible for reviewing this information and providing accurate registration details. Advanced courses may require evidence of previous knowledge or experience. We may recommend a different course or decline an application where the programme is not suitable.
3. Registration and payment
Submitting a registration form does not reserve a place. Enrolment is confirmed only after the applicable payment has been received and confirmed by ClikAcademy. Places may be limited and are allocated according to confirmed payment unless we state otherwise.
Published early-bird fees apply only until the stated deadline and while places remain available. After that deadline, the standard fee applies. You are responsible for any bank, transfer, currency-conversion, domain, hosting, software or third-party charges not expressly included in the course fee.
4. Cancellations, transfers and refunds
Course fees are generally non-refundable once you have received the course packet, accessed restricted recordings or resources, or joined the learning community. Before such access is provided, refund or transfer requests will be considered reasonably in light of the course start date, commitments already made and applicable consumer law.
You may request to transfer an eligible enrolment to another person or future cohort by contacting us promptly. Transfers are subject to suitability, availability and any price difference. Failure to attend does not automatically create a refund or credit.
Nothing in these terms limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Changes by ClikAcademy
We may make reasonable changes to instructors, session order, delivery tools, venues or course materials where needed to deliver the intended learning outcomes. If we must postpone or cancel a programme, we will offer an appropriate rescheduled place, credit or refund for the affected service. We are not responsible for consequential costs such as travel, accommodation, equipment or third-party subscriptions.
6. Participation and conduct
You agree to participate respectfully, follow reasonable instructor directions and avoid conduct that disrupts sessions, infringes rights, threatens safety or amounts to harassment, discrimination, unlawful activity or misuse of systems. You must not share private cohort links or another participant’s personal information without permission.
We may remove a participant from a session or community for serious or repeated misconduct. Removal for breach of these terms may occur without a refund where permitted by law.
7. Course materials and intellectual property
ClikAcademy and its licensors retain ownership of course slides, recordings, templates, examples, code, prompts, guides and other supplied materials unless expressly stated otherwise. A confirmed participant receives a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use supplied materials for their own learning and work.
You must not resell, publish, upload, distribute, sublicense, reproduce for training others, or provide account or resource access to third parties without written permission. You retain ownership of original work you create. You grant us only the limited permission reasonably required to review that work and provide feedback.
8. Recordings and community platforms
Where session recordings are provided, access is limited to the period communicated for that course. Recording, screenshotting or redistributing sessions or participant contributions without permission is prohibited.
Learning communities may use WhatsApp or another third-party platform. Your use of that platform is also governed by its terms and privacy practices. Participation in a community does not entitle you to permanent access, and community access may close after the stated support period.
9. Certificates and outcomes
Certificates of completion may depend on attendance, participation, assignments or project requirements. A certificate confirms completion of the stated programme; it is not an academic qualification, professional licence, employment guarantee or promise of a particular business or financial result.
We aim to provide practical and accurate instruction, but learning outcomes depend on participation, prior experience, practice and other factors. Examples and guidance are educational and are not legal, financial, security or other regulated professional advice.
10. Team training
A team-training request is an enquiry and not a booking. The final scope, participant numbers, delivery arrangements, fees, payment schedule, cancellation terms, confidentiality requirements and deliverables will be set out in a proposal or agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these general terms, the specific agreement controls for that programme.
11. Technology and participant responsibilities
You are responsible for suitable equipment, internet access, software, accounts and a safe working environment unless the course description states otherwise. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by your equipment, connection or third-party services, though we will make reasonable efforts to support course continuity.
12. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClikAcademy is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit, opportunity, data or business arising from use of the website or learning services. Our aggregate liability relating to a paid course will not exceed the amount paid for that course, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
13. Privacy
We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. Participants are also responsible for respecting the privacy and confidentiality of instructors and other learners.
14. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties should first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute by contacting each other. Courts with lawful jurisdiction in Nigeria may hear unresolved disputes.
Questions about these terms may be sent to academy@clikconsulting.com.
